I hope that I won't get in trouble for this because of the word in there but Aladdin's been missing.
He's been spotted doing something else for a Calvin Klein ad.
well, I can say that I appreciate the art in that one. Very well done in its resemblance. I hope that there's nothing wrong with a guy in his underwear right ?

ROFL, I KNOW WHERE THAT AD COMES FROM
A friend of mine made that for me because one day I went to go visit the gang at Epcot and I thought it was kind of strange Genie and Jasmine had a set by themselves so late in the day because usually Jasmine is gone by then and it's Aladdin and Genie out instead.
So, I asked the character attendant where Aladdin was (cause sometimes they'll come out later and join whoever is out there), and he turned to me with this huge smile going "Sorry, he's been missing all day ". I was already having a rough day and that didn't help because someone just happily told me they have no idea where the hell Aladdin is in some failed attempt to convince me the guards are after him still and he's on the run so this dude can't tell me where he's hiding or something. I know canon, buddy. That doesn't make any sense past the first movie when park canon is at least after the third .
So, when I was re-telling the story, she said "I WILL NOT STAND FOR THIS" and made that as if she was putting up flyers trying to find him for me
But as for the other picture, I wasn't crazy about it all when I first saw it. It doesn't really capture Aladdin's personality at all Unless he was a cheap porn star, then yeah, it's perfect |

Its so sad how some Disney stars want to break out from goody two shoes image to prove that they are more than that. Instead of that one genre. Cough cough like some ppl that don't need to name names... |

*swoon*
His lips look too European, though. Hmph. I hate it when they pollute my hot Arabian babes with European features.
Edit: The above comment could possibly be taken as racist. It's not. It just irritates me when they force different racial groups into a Western beauty standard. _________________

I remember seeing this on deviantART. The artist is based in Israel and is studying animation and actually made some short films, some of which is posted on YouTube. _________________

That guy had no idea what was going on. If Aladdin's missing, that means Mozenrath is involved or something. THIS IS SERIOUS BUSINESS!!!
But at least you found Aladdin again. *Cough* Several times *Cough* _________________

I remember he was like "Jasmine is about to go in but she'll be back in 15 minutes ". SHE SHOULDN'T BE BACK AT ALL BECAUSE IF ALADDIN IS "MISSING", SHE WOULD BE OUT FINDING HIM. She and Genie would not be happily signing autographs and taking pictures while he's missing

Is there really such a thing as park canon? 'Cause I was actually just thinking about that the other day, which of the various spinoffs Disney themselves consider canon... _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |

It depends on who you talk to
Most of the Aladdin characters are aware of the movies past the first one, but I think they're only really required to see the first movie and anything else is on them because I may or may not have heard of a Jasmine who hasn't seen ROJ or KOT, but an Aladdin who has, so yeah . And I remember one day Aladdin was running away from some character attendants yelling "I DIDN'T DO IT" as if he was still in the first movie, stealing stuff to live from the parks .
I think they're just aware of the basics like "Al and Jas are married, Aladdin has a father, Jafar was defeated in ROJ", that stuff, but as far as exclusive park canon, they're aware of Disney World places and other Disney characters and stuff like that if that's what you mean.
God, Mickey Mouse is gonna kick my ass for breaking all this magic |

The obvious assumption, of course, is that you're there for just Jasmine. You're not one of those B.B.B., princess-posery types; you care about Aladdin and Genie too, damn it. |
Which seems to surprise them, really . "You're not here to get all the princesses autographs?" Uh, no. I'm an Aladdin fan, not just a Jasmine fan, jeez. I love everyone
Quote: |
After all, Genie has some serious business meetings with the Sultan around there, too. |
That's up there on the worse excuses ever list
Quote: |
Not that there's anything wrong with that. You can never have too much Aladdin. Even if he'll call you crazy and/or imply that you're an unemployed poser. |
Or snark you over how many pictures you've taken. Jerk...I love him

Things like that. Also, and I don't know if this counts, but I've heard of comments about Abu still stealing stuff and stuff like that, not that I expect these people to realize that Abu sort of got over that (at least, he didn't do with without coaxing at the end of the series.) Disney security, however, is nothing like the Agrabanian Royal Guard, however. They don't give two shits if Abu is stealing stuff. |
If Rasoul was dead, he would have rolled over in his grave if he would have heard that comment
And apparently is on the same page as Abu because some days he's stealing things and other days that life is in the past. I think he's having identity issues

Well, if it helps, he's probably ready to kick my ass too.
I can just imagine it.
*Knock on the door*
Character Attendant: Sorry ma'am, but you've broken too much magic. Mickey's going to need your life. Remember that paperwork you signed? Yeah, this is in there. Oh, you didn't read that part? Sorry 'bout that, but your life is now closed. Have a magical day! |
That reminds me of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=83mcABtS3eo |

well you know its the character hostess job to make a believable Aladdin story.Just to keep it in the Disney magical atmosphere sense in why Aladdin is not there that day. Obviously, the hostess or host didn't quite do his or her job. |

So it's that kind of House of Mouse fuzzy continuity, huh?
That's awesome.

The Jasmine at Disneyland, said when she was leaving her set that she needs to get back to her husband and that he was not feeling well. this one I knew of was up to date. |
