I got an email recently asking for information on a game called Fate of Agrabah that was being made back in the late '90s; I wasn't much help except to say that I too remembered seeing sites about a game by that name years ago that no longer exist...

I think that it's the same as an Italian-language game I've seen for sale called La Sfida per Agrabah, but I don't know that for certain, and if it is if it's been released in any other languages besides Italian.

Does anyone here know anything about this game?

Hmm, and right after I posted that I found a site about the game that said it was cancelled right when it was almost finished:

The person who wrote to me also said they once saw a rendering of a mud monster that was going to be in the game. I'm not a big fan of the al-Muddi, but I do love series references. Very Happy

I'm curious what the plot was going to be...

Yeah, I was just gonna say that game was cancelled because I remember finding that website years ago and using that picture of Jasmine's room as my wallpaper Laughing

I always find it interesting how people render Agrabah for gameplay, though. It's really never the same way twice Laughing
