Anyone else dislike it? (I'm talking about the wedding gown she wears in KoT.) I always hated the collar - something about the way it flips up; it just looks a little Star Trek-y for my taste. Anyone else have any ideas on a better wedding gown for Jasmine? I always liked her "implied wedding" dress from the end of the first movie (that purple thing she wore). I also think they drew her features a little bit more "sharp" than they were in the first two movies (and the series) whereas in the original, she looked a lot softer and more natural. Anyone else get that vibe or is it just me? _________________ "I have no idea WHAT you're talking about. I'll be back when you're normal again." -Princess Jasmine.

I'm not a huge fan of it, but I think that's in-part because I'm so use to seeing her not that covered up . I love the veil and the skirt part, but the top/shoulder pad area throws me off, even though I know that's probably not that far from how it would have really looked. If the top was different, I think I'd like it more.
That purple outfit she wore at the end was pants, though, unless you're talking about the dress she wore during the announcement. |

I actually didn't have a problem with it. I thought it was lovely. But I think maybe it lacked in the "wow" department. It would be fun to design your own!
Hmm... Maybe I will...
I was thankful to the KoT for giving Aladdin and Jasmine new wardrobes. Very thankful. _________________

I think I just found it a little odd that it was a bit...un-Jasmine-like. But I liked it. _________________ "I too am a member of your species, Captain, or I was. Perhaps I am not anymore. Perhaps you are right in thinking of me as an alien. I know I am different from you. You see-I do not kill." |

I don't hate it, but I wish they'd given her something a little more authentic. It's too much like a modern Western wedding dress crossed with Jafar's outfit. _________________ "If only I could believe you. Perhaps I can! After all... you do bear the name of a flower." -- Arbutus |

Haha, Calluna, you're right! That weird flippy shoulder thing is very Jafaresque. Maybe that's why it bothers me. _________________ "I have no idea WHAT you're talking about. I'll be back when you're normal again." -Princess Jasmine.
